"Tis the Season" . .. The Scholarship Season

Scholarships Now
This is peak scholarship season. There are an abundance of scholarships but here are a few to get you started:

Kohl's Kids Who Care - nominations accepted Feb 1 to March 15; for youth ages 6 to 18 active in community service. Go here: http://www.kohlscorporation.com/CommunityRelations/scholarship/index.asp

AFA Teens - Alzheimer Awareness Scholarship - applications due February 15; for students to write about the impact Alzheimer's disease has on their own lives and others in their family and community. Go here:

Lowes Scholarship - deadline is February 28; for students who show leadership, community service and work experience, with at least a 3.25 gpa. Go here: http://careers.lowes.com/college_recruiting_scholarship.aspx
