There's money in the kitchen . . .do you know where to look?

ProStart is an amazing national 2 year high school culinary program sponsored by the National Restaurant Association. My daughter's team from Glenelg won first place for Maryland and went on to the National Competition this past weekend in Baltimore. It had the excitement and intensity of the Super Bowl and Top Chef combined! The event will also air on HGTV soon!

. . . but what does this have to do with scholarships you say? Well . . . this event is sponsored by many outstanding organizations and schools who come to recruit students . . . and . . . offer . . . .money . . . and FULL SCHOLARSHIPS to the 1st place winning team! Amanda won $500 at the State level for first place and there are many others.

Consider the career programs and technical academies in your local high school and see what they offer! Athletic teams are not the only ones who offer scholarships for superior performance.
